Metallica going back to the garage

Well it isn't totally new rock, but it looks like Metallica will be re-issuing the Garage Inc. CD in the form of Vinyl.

This Thursday, Metclub.com and BecauseSoundMatters.com, will be releasing a 6 LP set pressed on white vinyl, but if you want it, you gotta grab it fast. Only 100 copies will be made.

Other versions include a 3 LP standard set and a 6 LP deluxe set, which includes the original Garage Inc. album along with all of the band's B-side covers and The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited.

Crisco Loses a Super Bowl Bet

Betting against Lazy E is not something to be taken lightly, as I found out the hard way. After betting on Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl and losing, I then had to do a shot of Lazy E's Secret Hot Sauce Concoction. The results were hot and painful...just the way I like it.

Are You Hungry for New Limp Bizkit?

Fred Durst sure is. For fans of Limp Bizkit that have been waiting impatiently sine late 2009 for the release of Limp Bizkit's new album Gold Cobra, Durst has finally spoken.

The new record (which is the first full-length album since 2003's Results May Vary, and the first to feature the collaboration of Limp Bizkit's entire original lineup since 2000's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water) has been in the making since 2009. Recording ended in March 2010, the album was supposedly mixed in the following months, and then multiple release dates were set and then rescheduled throughout the remainder of the year. Many fans were left wondering what the hell was going on, including myself.

Now, finally, we have received news right from the source. On February 9th on his Twitter page, Fred Durst posted the following Tweet:
"Limp Bizkit Gold Cobra should be mixed and ready to press by the end of February."
This came as a surprise to all of us that were under the impression that the album was already mixed, as had been announced in early 2010, adding further mystery to the entire situation. At any rate, we at least now have a clue.

A new fest for Crue Fest?

So, after hearing my co-host Crisco talk about a possible Crue Fest 2011 coming to the Montage Mountain, I decided to put on my "Detective-E" hat on and after filter through lots and lots of porn (Filter = Saving to external hard drive"), I found some interesting stuff.

In 2010 there were a couple of references to a resurgence of Cruefest.

First was a quote from Tommy Lee stating "There would not be a Crue Fest 3 in the summer of 2010, but instead the band would work on new material and is expected to tour Cruefest 3 in 2011"

Now maybe that was just Tommy talking after a drug enduced night, but a similar quote was made to Billboard that same year by bassist Nikki Sixx

"I feel like we're ending being out for quite a long time, touring and 'Saints of Los Angeles' and the Carnival of Sins (tour) and 'Red, White, And Crue' ...really going away on a big high to start working on writing a new record and looking forward to the next Crue Fest, which'll probably be in 2011"

Hmm, interesting... Now let's fast forward to yesterday when Blabbermouth.net posted an interview with New York Doll's guitarist Sylvain Sylvain

"...and we're about to go on the road for 40 nights with Motley Crue this coming June-July in the States, and that's a lot of work..."

All of this seems to be pointing to a return of Crue Fest this Summer. Now does this mean they'll be stopping by the Montage Mountain? Keep it here and we'll keep you in the loop.

Should I question Crisco's Manhood?

Just listen to this clip below

Crisco's Wonderful Read

Alright, so my question is, did I have the right to question Crisco's Manhood? Leave a comment below and let us know.

I'm Going on the Rails on a Gaming Train!

First we had the Fountain Girl, who fell into a mall fountain because she wasn't paying attention while texting. Now we have an Italian child taking it to the next level. He apparently was so engrossed with his video game that he didn't notice he was about to hit game over in life.

Damn You, Auto Correct!

Last week on the show, we talked about this website that we discovered called DamnYouAutoCorrect.com. It features instances in which the Auto Correct function in certain text programs (mostly iPhone messaging) takes on a mind of its own. Follow the link and check it out. Some of these undoubtedly ruined the sender's life, and now the website will ruin yours.
